Scientia Scripta wrote a series of ten articles for the Yorkshire Post regional newspaper to promote the research activities of three Yorkshire universities: Leeds, York and Sheffield. Our articles were written on behalf of Julian White, CEO of the White Rose Consortium.

Each month we contributed an article which focused on one of the ‘Great Eight’ technologies identified by David Willetts as platform technologies in which the UK has global research leadership.

We explored how Government policy and funding supports research, technology development and knowledge exchange between businesses and scientists in the region. We highlighted specific projects from each of the three universities that we covered.
