Medical writing and communications

To advance patient care scientists must translate advances from the laboratory bench to the patients’ bedside. But how can clinicians keep pace with the latest advances?

Clear communication is key.

At Scientia Scripta we craft clear and effective medical communications materials to share news of the latest research and promote your corporate messages to scientists, policy makers and clinicians.

In 2014, we worked with TMC Communications to produce congress newspapers for delegates attending the United European Gastroenterology congress in Vienna and the European Society of Medical Oncology’s bi-annual congress in Madrid. Both projects were a resounding success and the print for ESMO’s newspaper increased by several thousand copies.

We have also worked with the ESMO team to support the production of Clinical Practice Guideline’s, Spotlights publications and the congress newspaper in 2012.

In addition to ESMO, we have drafted a journal paper published in the European Journal of Cancer. We have also produced website content about research into new therapeutics and developed internal communications materials for a pharmaceutical company.

Outside of oncology, we have worked with various medical writing agencies and have specific expertise in gastroenterology, respiratory diseases and osteoarthritis. However we specialise in translating complex science from all research areas into accessible prose for audiences of non-specialists.
