Christmas is coming… so let’s tell you about our summer!

It has been a while since our last blog post here. OK, it has been a very long while, but we hope it is not too late to explain ourselves! This has been a monumentally busy summer (and early autumn) with a number of projects all falling at once. Juggling workloads with family holidays (ah, those hot, heady days of summer…) presented a few challenges.

Here’s a glimpse of just a few projects we have been working on over the past few months

Smart Cities – Scientia Scripta has provided a wide range of communications support to this European Regional Development Fund backed project. From copywriting and editing of dissemination material in major publications to conference reporting and speech-writing, we have been pleased to help with the impressive work being carried out to help transform the way that local authorities across Europe deliver services to their citizens.

Naturejobs – Hywel was contracted to produce an article for the Naturejobs blog based on attendance at a conference on international scientific research issues. Feel free to view the output at the link above.

Communication Keys – we will shortly be launching a new copywriting package which we have carefully designed for early stage businesses and startups needing to kick-start their communication and branding activity. More details to follow!

Manchester Jelly – we’ve been working a little bit at the (relatively) new co-working space at Manchester Jelly held at Madlab in Manchester’s Northern Quarter every Friday. It’s a great way to get out of the home office for some work and networking with other freelancers, entrepreneurs, contractors or anyone else who works at home.

Aside from all of this work and development we have of course been serving the needs of our valued clients around the world – producing high quality copy for their specific requirements. As ever, please feel free to get in touch to discuss any aspect of our work with us. We look forward to hearing from you!
